REFRACTOMETER (0-32%) RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS: For general concentration measuring of sugar and fruit juice, and industrial grinding and cutting fluids. This unit is great for the testing of fruits, vegetables and grasses, Wine or Beer makers and for the maintenance of CNC Coolants (Soluble Oils, Semi-Synthetics, Neo-Synthetics and Synthetics) and Water Soluble Drawing & Stamping Compounds. The Refractomer (0-32) has an ATC, and is excellent for indoor testing where temperature is not much of a concern! This ATC (Auto Temperature Compensation) unit also excellent for unheated or outdoor applications as well. REFRACTOMETER (0-10%) RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS: Use a unit with ATC (Auto Temperature Compensation) for unheated or outdoor applications. Models with the "ATC" suffix are equipped with "Automatic Temperature Compensation" for accurate measurements without recalibration after shifts in ambient working temperature (field use). Zero to ten( 0-10%) percent Brix range model is most widely used for raw maple sap, low sugar fruits and vegetables, and Reamsian bodily fluid testing and for synthetic or semi-synthetic machine and grinding coolants.
