60° Lettering Bits

Designed specifically for routing signs, these CMT Lettering Bits have 60 degree cutting edges, a 1/8" radius and a 1/4" flat bottom. This profile allows you to create striking effects for signmaking while eliminating undesirable chipping and splintering. By putting bevel edges on the raised characters of relief lettering you reduce the possibility of splitting the lettering which often occurs when producing square relief effects.

60° Laser Point Bits

This CMT 60° Laser Point bit lets you make bevels so smooth and engravings so incredibly precise that they seem to have been made with a laser. The three super sharp cutting edges and the perfectly balanced bit allow you to work with superior precision and accuracy, even down to the point. Use the entire 1/2" diameter to create bold highlighted lettering and engraving, or vary the height of the bit to create more decorative work.

The laser point makes both a clean 30 degree bevel and engraves at a 60 degree angle. Super strong steel shank and micrograin carbide tips guarantee you long lasting performance.
