Roundover Bits and Beading Bits

These bits give you a choice of two profiles from a single bit. In the roundover configuration with the 1/2" bearing (3/4" bearing on the 2 largest bits), they produce a perfectly symmetrical, smooth radius edge. For a beading profile, a smaller bearing produces a delicate inset at the base of the cut, giving you the advantage of an extra decorative option. Simply change the bearing on your Roundover bit to create a beading profile.

IMPORTANT: Always assemble the black bearing head shield with the raised side up when changing the bearing. Improper assembly will cause the screw to come loose and the bearing to fall off when routing.
