Bull Nose Bits and Corner Beading Bits

CMT Bull Nose bits give you beautifully finished edges on stair treads, window sills and shelves in one clean cut. For an added touch, try using a cutter with a bead diameter wider than the stock thickness. CMT Bull nose bits have bead diameters that range from 6,35 mm (1/4") to 25,4mm (1") and all bits have carbide tipped cutting edges, anti-kickback design and the trademark orage PTFE non-stick coating.

SAFETY TIPS: Must be used with a router table equipped with a fence. Do not remove work piece while the bit is still rotating.

SHOP TIPS : To obtain the results illlustrated in the application illustration listed below: Profile A - the fence must be adjusted so that the cutting depth is not greater than the radius of the bit. Profile B - for a deeper profile, use a template with self regulating entrance and exit. Profile C - for a shallower round-off, use a bit with a bit diameter greater than the thickness of the workpiece.
